Why not the dictatorial attitude of the family of military officers in Pakistan?

The Flower - Pakistan Monument at Night

The abusive behavior of a woman with a police officer on the motorway is highly objectionable. The woman threatened that she was the wife of a colonel and can fix this police officer. She then forcefully run away with the car. It is not the first-time people of Pakistan have seen. Such tragic events demonstrate how the minds of military officers in Pakistan behave in public places, and with the civilian & public officers. And why not? In a country where military rule has been in place for more than 30 years out of 70 years of Pakistan. How much is the salary of military officers, what are the benefits they receive? Why don’t they behave with arrogance where they are treated and received high-quality facilities? There are separate high-quality schools for the children of military officers, separate hospitals with quality services, luxurious free family accommodation with the car, driver, butler, chef, gardener, and servants, and then they live in separate top-quality residential areas where non-stop electricity and water supply. Upon retirement, army officers award free land to build top-class houses on their choice. Therefore, it is natural for their family members to consider themselves superior to the ordinary people and government system. That is why they have an arrogant and mastery attitude with the civilians and civilian officers.

Then it is said that soldiers give their lives for the country and the nation. So which country’s army officers do not offer their lives for their states and nations? It is the army officers’ primary responsibility, which they choose for themselves.

The job of the army is to protect the country at the borders and, if necessary, provide services to the people in emergencies within the country, that is why they receive high privileges. Military intervention in government and government departments is not that much in the world as in Pakistan.

Army officers are appointed on higher positions in public institutions in Pakistan. At retirement, many army officers choose to live a lavish life in the United States, Europe, and other countries; no one knows how they afford monetarily. How many top Pakistani military officers have left Pakistan with their families after retirement and are living in luxury in the United States, Europe, and Australia, and remaining in Pakistan are appointed at high government positions. No one in Pakistan dares to open his or her mouth for them. If democracy is to be maintained in Pakistan, then it can only be possible with the will of the army, and the state of emergency is imposed in Pakistan. Again, it is the choice of the military. Rangers have ruled Karachi for the last 40 years. How many youths have been killed or disappeared in military operations in Karachi, whereas Pakistan has a law and courts for every crime?

Even today, the government is democratic, but high and essential decisions are made with the will of the army. It seems that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his associates made Pakistan as a gift for the Pakistani forces, to live and enjoy.
