New York (UNA-OIC) – Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen met here on Friday with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
The meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the OIC and the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as ways to enhance coordination and cooperation within the framework of the Islamic solidarity spirit.
The minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to the secretary-general for his great efforts in developing and supporting joint Islamic action during his tenure, including leading the OIC’s efforts in addressing the challenges facing the Islamic world.
