Kuwait (UNA-OIC) – Kuwaiti Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Khalifa Hamada discussed with the 26th session representative of the UN Conference on Climate Change, Janet Rogan, investment opportunities in climate change, clean and environmentally friendly industries and technology.
The Ministry of Finance said in a statement on Monday that during the meeting that was attended by British Ambassador to Kuwait Belinda Lewis, the two sides also discussed topics to be raised at the 26th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP26) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), to be hosted by the UK in partnership with Italy from 31 October to 12 November 2021.
