New Provinces of Pakistan – Let’s face the truth

"The founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah said, ‘We are now all Pakistanis — not Baluchis, Pathans, Sindhis, Bengalis, Punjabis and so on — and as Pakistanis we must feet behave and act, and we should be proud to be known as Pakistanis and nothing else.’"

Talk of Palestinian reconciliation

"Israel's position regarding Hamas or the upcoming reconciliation talks is unclear. In general, Israelis are opposed to this reconciliation, as exemplified by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statement that Palestinians must choose between Hamas or peace. Not that the Israeli prime minister was making any serious peace offers, but the right-wing Israeli government has shown in recent months a more pragmatic side to it....The Israeli-Hamas prisoner exchange and the indirect negotiations, through Egypt, with the aim of stopping rockets coming from Gaza show that Tel Aviv is not totally opposed to an understanding that includes Hamas."

Libya and Palestine

"Libyans have a unique opportunity of creating the basis for a new progressive and forward-looking country that respects human rights and applies democratic values. Palestine and Libya have much in common and will certainly work together to improve their two societies....In the past decades the chances of Palestinians being liberated were equal to those of South Africans and the Irish. Now Tunisians, Egyptians and Libyans are free yet Palestine is still not free."

Voterism: A Government for The New Millennium

"A voter centric government is one that is founded upon the belief that a free society depends upon the handwritten selection of representatives by voters who use hand-counted paper ballots and who celebrate all national elections with a paid voting holiday....A voterist believes a votocracy created and controlled by individual voters is the most favorable form of government....Voterism is not a political party.  Rather, it is a way for independently-minded and concerned voters of every political persuasion to think for themselves....As our rapidly-changing world spins into a new millennium, and the older forms of governments are using new forms of technology to become more repressive of and less responsive to their electors, isn’t it time for all of us to consider a modification in how we organize for the common good?"

The new Arab mindset is an ominous warning for the West

"The narrative before and after the revolt, remains unchanged for many Arabs. For them, the Arab world is ruled by pro-western elites who are more interested in the preservation of Western colonial interests than the liberation of Arab masses from tyranny....Right now, it seems as though any Western attempt to orchestrate political change in Arab countries is instantly rejected and thrown back. The dormant Arab mind is now awake, and is fast producing results that are diametrically opposed to the West’s longevity and primacy in the Middle East."
