Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) roundly condemned the terrorist bombing attack that targeted a restaurant in the Somali capital Mogadishu, killing and injuring a large number of innocent people.
OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen expressed his strong condemnation of this heinous attack. He also offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the government and people of Somalia, wishing a quick recovery to the wounded.
Al-Othaimeen reaffirmed the OIC’s condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He also reiterated the support of the Organization for the Somali government’s efforts to confront and combat terrorism.
