Makkah Al-Mukarramh (UNA-OIC) – In an urgent statement, the Muslim World League condemned the all-out offensive statements against Prophet Mohamed (PBUH), made by Indian Bharatiya Janata Party’s spokeswoman.
His Excellency Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, warned against the dangers involved in methods of inciting hatred including the insulting of religious symbols, welcoming, at the same time, the announcement of the Indian Party “to suspend the spokeswoman from work”. He strongly condemned the insulting of any religious symbols of any religion.”
His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League called for, on behalf of the General-Secretariat of the League, its global councils and bodies to make the opportunity go unseized from behind launching such absurd practices and statements. He confirmed that such losing statements and risks strengthen Muslims’ faith and support their values in defense of their Prophet Mohamed (PBUH).
