Glasgow (UNA-OIC) – Kuwait’s Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met with US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2021 (COP26) in Glasgow, the United Kingdom, on Monday.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the deep-rooted relations between the two friendly countries and the latest developments in both regional and international arenas.
The Kuwaiti premier also met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of the COP26 Summit, where they tackled cooperation between Kuwait and the UN and its specialized agencies and related organs, as well as coordination about forthcoming events and the latest regional and international developments.
During the meeting which was attended by the prime minister’s accompanying delegation, the UN chief appreciated Kuwait’s key regional and international role and efforts in safeguarding global security and peace.
