Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) holds tomorrow Wednesday a briefing on the outcomes of IOFS 5th General Assembly, which was organized virtually in Tunisia on 10-11 October under the theme: “Partnerships for Sustainable Food Security: Africa within OIC Geography).

IOFS called on representatives of the media to attend the briefing to increase broader awareness about food security-related activities in the geography of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and within IOFS Strategic Vision 2031 aimed at strengthening intra-OIC cooperation in the field of food security and agriculture.
There will be interpretation in 3 OIC/IOFS working languages (English, Arabic, and French) and also in the Russian language.
It is noteworthy that the IOFS is a specialized institution affiliated with the OIC and concerned with promoting agricultural and rural development and food security in the OIC member states, with its headquarters in Astana, Kazakhstan.
