Rabat (UNA-OIC) – A delegation of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) met with Tunisian Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Nasreddine Nsibi, on Monday at the Ministry headquarters in the capital Tunis.
The delegation, comprised Director of ICESCO Center of Strategic Foresight Dr. Kais Hammami and Director of ICESCO Department of Legal Affairs Mohamed Shili, reiterated the Organization’s appreciation of the Tunisian experience in the fields of entrepreneurship and vocational training.
The meeting explored ways to promote partnership and cooperation between ICESCO and the Ministry in the areas of vocational training, employment and promotion of entrepreneurship among young people.
The Tunisian minister stressed the Ministry’s willingness to develop cooperation with ICESCO, commending the Organization’s role in sharing experiences on vocational training, employment and promotion of entrepreneurship among young people to develop advanced competencies and strengthen the economy of countries of the Islamic world.
ICESCO will organize its Forum on Entrepreneurship and Women Empowerment, on 16-17 November 2021, in Tunis, to explore the role of women’s entrepreneurship in economic development by 2030.
