Baghdad (UNA-OIC) – Under the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has provided humanitarian aid to Iraq to help fight the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the Arab country.
AZERTAC correspondent quoted the Azerbaijan Embassy in Iraq as saying in a statement that the humanitarian aid containing 27 tons of medical supplies and materials had arrived in Iraq on June 30.
The medical supplies, which were carried by Azerbaijan’s cargo airline “Silk Way Airlines”, were handed over to the Iraqi side by the embassy staff members.
