Aziz Abdukhakimov will attend the Fifth Meeting of Ministers for Tourism of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States on June 23, 2020, via videoconference.
Participants will discuss the current state of tourism industry in the context of COVID-19 pandemic, countries’ experience in mitigating the socio-economic consequences of coronavirus for tourism sector, measures to restore tourist exchange between member States of the Turkic Council, projects and initiatives to promote tourist destinations of the Council Member States.
Issues of including cities and destinations of Uzbekistan in the project of Modern Silk Road joint tourism product and holding the sixth meeting of Tourism Ministers of the Turkic Council in Uzbekistan in 2021 will be considered at the event.
