Tashkent (UNA-OIC) – Uzbekistan has received a consignment of 276,480 doses of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine from France under COVAX sharing scheme.
According to Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Health, the total volume of vaccines imported into the country amounted to 14,856,540 doses, including Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, ZF-UZ-VAC2001 and Moderna.
As of August 12, a total of 11,651,161 doses of the vaccine were administered in Uzbekistan’s vaccination process, while the number of fully vaccinated people against the virus reached 1,380,457.
