Uzbekistan hosts International Youth Tourism Forum

Tashkent, (UNA-OIC) – Bukhara Department for Tourism Development in cooperation with the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development and Bukhara regional administration, Embassies of Uzbekistan abroad, and other responsible organizations has organized the First International Youth Tourism Forum.

The International Forum was broadcast live in more than 20 countries with presentations of experts from more than ten countries, such as France, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Malaysia, as well as talented young people from foreign countries.

The virtual forum was also attended by representatives of Vatel University, specializing in the hotel business and more than 20 foreign delegates, including Rudy Fang from Singapore, who widely presented his opportunities in Uzbekistan.

This project aims to train mature and qualified personnel in tourism, develop and implement highly effective scientific developments, start-up projects for domestic and international students and specialists.

At the forum, participants discussed the development of certain types of tourism during the pandemic, presented presentations on the development of start-up projects.

Tourism Ambassadors of the Bukhara region were identified following the event and awarded special certificates.
