Kuala Lumpur (UNA-OIC) – Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur took part in the official opening ceremony of Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture, Agrotourism Show 2022.
Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri attended the opening ceremony of the event.
The event is Malaysia’s largest exhibition of agricultural and food products. This year, the exhibition demonstrates products in more than 50 areas of agriculture, animal husbandry, including leguminous crops, dried and canned fruits and vegetables, as well as agricultural automation equipment and tools, achievements in molecular biotechnology, and others.
About 600 companies and 10-15 thousand people from more than 20 countries take part in this event every year.
The Malaysian side was informed about comprehensive measures aimed at developing the fruit and vegetable, livestock, poultry and food sectors of the agro-industrial complex of Uzbekistan.
