Tashkent (UNA-OIC) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Sunday had a telephone conversation with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, the presidents discussed issues of developing the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries, as well as expanding multifaceted cooperation.
An in-depth discussion focused on developments in Afghanistan. In view of this, both presidents agreed to boost interaction of the respective ministries and agencies in Russia and Uzbekistan, to ensure regional security and stability. They also agreed to continue to maintain regular contact.
