A branch of the University of Turkey will be organized in Tashkent, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan reports.
On June 17, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to organize the University of Economics and Technology of Turkey in Tashkent” was adopted. In accordance with the document, the branch will provide non-governmental educational services. Its activities will begin from the 2020/2021 academic year.
The branch is considered a non-governmental higher education organization, the main tasks of which are commercialization of scientific research results, attracting investments for the implementation of innovative ideas of students and others.
Graduates of the branch will be given university diplomas, which will be recognized in Uzbekistan as documents on higher education.
