UAE has provided Uzbekistan with 7 tons of humanitarian cargo to fight COVID-19.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Abu Dhabi, the humanitarian cargo includes artificial lung ventilation devices, oxygen concentrators, PCR laboratories and express test systems, and auxiliary medical equipment. The medical cargo will be transferred to the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan for further distribution to all regions of the country.
This is the fourth delivery to Uzbekistan of medical devices designed to counter the spread of COVID-19, carried out by the leadership of the UAE. A total of 51 tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered to Uzbekistan since the beginning of the pandemic.
