Tashkent hosts a conference on involving youth in ongoing reforms

Tashkent hosted virtual conference on “Involving youth in the process of ongoing reforms and decision-making”.

It was attended by members of the Senate and deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, competent employees of the UN, relevant ministries and agencies, as well as representatives of youth from all regions of the country.

Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva congratulated on Youth Day.

This year, unified indicators have been developed to evaluate the effectiveness of work with young people, a national youth policy assessment index is being introduced. In addition, the concept “Youth of Uzbekistan 2025” has been prepared, which defines practical measures for formation of a spiritually and physically developed generation.

In accordance with the State Program, the Youth Parliament under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis has been created in the country.

Joint activities of the state and youth were discussed at the event, the success achieved was noted.
