Khartoum (UNA-OIC) – Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk commended the role being played by the Troika countries to make peace in Sudan and support the democratic transition, affirming the Transitional Government commitment to full implementation to South Sudan Peace Agreement.
This came as Hamdouk received here on Wednesday the Troika representatives and reviewed with them their proposal to establish a mechanism for the review and assessment of implementing the Juba Agreement for Peace in Sudan.
The prime minister welcomed the proposal, explaining that he will present it to the peace parties. Meanwhile, the Troika representatives renewed their commitment to supporting the peace process in Sudan.
