Juba (UNA-OIC) – The South Sudan Islamic Council (SSIC), in cooperation with Al-Haqiqa Organization for Humanitarian Aid and Development, launched a donation campaign for those affected by the floods and torrential rains that hit the country.
The campaign was launched under the theme “You shall not attain righteousness until you spend out of what you love”, said an SSIC statement, a copy of which was seen by the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA).
The campaign inauguration ceremony was supervised by SSIC Secretary-General Sheikh Abdullah Burj Rawal, chairman of the High Committee for Campaign to Support Flood Victims and deputy executive director of Al-Haqiqa Organization for Humanitarian Aid and Development. He appealed to everyone to contribute generously to this campaign.

It is noteworthy that the donation campaign, which has set up tents in major markets of in Juba City Council to mobilize humanitarian assistance, will last for 10 days.
