Mogadishu (UNA-OIC) – Somali National Army (SNA) on Saturday killed 76 terrorist fighters of al-Shabaab and captured 10 others alive after the group’s attempted attacks to overrun SNA bases in Barire and Awdhegle towns in the Lower Shabelle region.
SNA Infantry Commander Mohamed Tahlil Bihi told Somali National Television that the army foiled the terrorists’ plot against the army.
The Commander didn’t comment on whether there were casualties among SNA soldiers and civilians during the coordinated terrorist attacks by Al-Shabaab.
