Members of the Republican Working Group of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis monitored 15 farms in 7 districts of Tashkent region and analyzed cases related to forced labor in the activities of 17 makhallas and 12 enterprises and organizations.
Information about the work implemented was announced at the press conference held in the city of Nurafshan.
Monitoring of the implementation of Government decisions on prevention of forced labor during the cotton harvest is also carried out in other regions of the country. Thus, representatives of the parliamentary working group visited the cotton fields of Jizzakh region and got acquainted with the progress of cotton harvest.
During the monitoring, senators draw attention to both the facts of the organized harvesting campaign and violations.
