Saudi Permanent Representative to OIC meets Turkmen counterpart

Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani met on Tuesday with Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom Oraz Mohammed Sharif, who also serves as Turkmen Permanent Representative to the OIC.

This meeting came as an enhancement of cooperation and consultation between the permanent representatives, in light of the OIC’s activities and concerns, as well as the joint Islamic action system in a way that serves Muslim issues amidst the current challenges.

The two sides discussed areas of joint Islamic action and ways of coordination to serve the objectives of the OIC and its specialized, subsidiary and affiliated organs.

Both diplomats also discussed the joint work between the two Permanent Missions and its impacts on the efforts of the OIC. They further noted the importance of joint cooperation and the promotion of its development to serve the orientations of the Organization.
