Saudi Permanent Representative to OIC meets his Cameroonian counterpart

Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, received in his office at the Mission’s headquarters in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs branch in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, his counterpart, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Cameroon to the OIC and its ambassador to Riyadh, Ambassador Iya Tidjani.

The two sides discussed issues of common interest and recent developments within the OIC framework and reviewed the organization’s efforts at all levels.

They also reviewed areas of joint Islamic action and means of coordination to serve the organization’s goals and its specialized, subsidiary and affiliated bodies. They emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultation regarding developments in all Islamic issues within the framework of the OIC’s interest.

It is worth noting that the preparatory meetings for the forty-ninth session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States are currently being held in the OIC Secretariat-General, which is scheduled to be held in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, on March 16 and 17, 2023.
