Saudi King makes phone call to Tunisian President

Neom (UNA-OIC) — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud made a phone call today to President Kais Saied of the Republic of Tunisia.

During the telephone convesation, King Salman stated that Saudi Arabia is following with great interest the developments being witnessed in Tunisia. He stressed Saudi Arabia’s keenness on Tunisia’s security and stability and the Kingdom’s standing by the North African country in light of its difficult health conditions to overcome them.

The King also affirmed that he directed the competent authorities in Saudi Arabia to quickly provide additional health support for Tunisia in addition to the previous aid, to contribute to meeting the needs of the Tunisian health sector.

For his part, the Tunisian President expressed his thanks to the King for this noble initiative that reflects the depth of the historical relations between the two sisterly countries. He also renewed his appreciation for the Kingdom’s support to Tunisia in this difficult epidemiological circumstance, which has had a great impact on saving lives of thousands as well as supporting and empowering health institutions.
