Saudi Interior Minister inaugurates Hajj-related Civil Defense services

Mina (UNA-OIC) – Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, inaugurated Tuesday a number of Hajj-related civil defense high-tech services during a visit to the headquarters of the Civil Defense Forces, who are participating in this year’s Hajj.

In his speech during the ceremony prepared for the inauguration, Director-General of Civil Defense Gen. Suleiman bin Abdullah Al-Amro announced that the minister has cut the opening ribbons of electronic services, buildings, and mechanisms; rapid intervention units and the readiness and on-the-Job Training Platform.

He stressed that the Civil Defense is working to keep abreast of the latest technical developments to achieve the security and safety of pilgrims, citizens and expatriates, with the support and care of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the continuous follow-up of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, to ensure preserving lives and property, by raising the civil defense capabilities to face all kinds of risk and deal with them with the highest degree of readiness and professionalism.
