Riyadh (UNA-OIC) – Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh is scheduled to host from October 27 a two-week Global Town Festival, which brings together global civilizations in one place in an atmosphere of tolerance and peace, at the Exhibition Park on the Eastern Ring Road, Riyadh.
Rima Al-Ruwaisan, CEO of the Molhimat Al-Sharq for Exhibitions and Conferences, noted that visitors of the festival will enjoy an exceptional experience on a journey full of excitement and passion through time and unforgettable moments, with the participation of prestigious countries in their famous landmarks, wonderful markets and folklore songs, in addition to coffee shops and restaurants that offer the most delicious international dishes.
Al-Ruwaisan stated that visitors start their journey from the Saudi Street in a tourist and historical trip with time paradox between the past and present through various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She added that the Exhibition of Homeland and History will be held on the sidelines of the event to showcase the top achievements of the Saudi kings.
Al-Ruwaisan also pointed out that the festival will include Riyadh Valley event: The Future Gate, which will be supported by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, under the leadership of a group of pioneering ministries and agencies, such as the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), King Faisal Award, Darah Foundation, and King Fahd National Library, where they will all present their messages toward the homeland and citizens.
The Saudi official went on to say that the festival has allocated a charity street, named Molhimat Al-Khair, which houses charity organizations, business entrepreneurs and productive families. She noted that the event is to be held in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy to empower women and invest in the youths of the homeland, as well as to meet the passion of festival visitors.
