An ecotourism route is developing in the direction of Zarautsay, located in Sherabad district of Surkhandarya region.

Scientists-archaeologists have established that rock carvings of Zarautsay belong to the Mesolithic and Neolithic periods.

Our ancestors artfully depicted the landscapes of hunting with dogs on wild bulls with the help of red ocher. There are also images of people wearing masks, many wild animals, such as gnarled goat, gazelle, fox, and ibex.
