Algiers (UNA-OIC) – The Algerian Presidency has affirmed that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune is receiving treatment for the coronavirus in a German hospital, and his condition is improving gradually.
In a statement carried by Algeria Press Service (APS) on Tuesday, the Presidency said, “President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune continues to receive treatment at a specialized German hospital after he contracted COVID-19, and his health condition is gradually improving in accordance with the requirements of the health protocol.”
“The medical team is reassured that the president is responding to treatment and gradually recovering,” the statement added.
