United Nations of Africa

These are the days of regionalism and the Dark Continent of Africa has given a praiseworthy lead by forming themselves into an African Union. This Union of 53 countries will not only administer the day to day disputes of the member states but also provide them financial assistance. The settlement of disputes may need funds to enforce the decisions of the Union. Unless the decisions can be implemented no union can be successful. This is what has happened to the United Nations, which has become a second fiddler to the USA, as it cannot afford to enforce its decisions, as is evident from the case of Kashmir. United Nation decision could not be enforced because of the lack of interest of United States of America, the major partner of United Nations. On the other hand East Timor was able to come out of the folds of Indonesia because it had the staunchest support of USA and thereby the United Nations.

These political wrangling mar not only the face but also the fate of International body, which to start with are established with sincere most intention, later on are sunk in the selfish morass of the powers that happen to be superior to other members.

It is hoped that the poor nations as the Africans are, will manage their affairs, where they are able to replace United Nation for all practical purposes and become the United Nation of Africa. It is further hoped that Asia would also see the light of the day and leave the United Nation Organization high and dry with the American continents only.

Asia has got a lot of potential in this regard, they have Japan, China, Russia, Iran, Central Asian States, India and Pakistan and all their mineral wealth on which the new world depends for their subsistence and exploit the same. This will rather be a formidable bloc, which can talk to the super power with eye to eye magnitude.

It is hoped that the Yellow race of Asia supported by the Brown race will not lag behind in following the lead given by the dark race of Africa. As it is United Nation has no meaning what so ever for the one third population of the world who live in Asia, Africa & Middle East. So the future of these people lies only in developing a homogenous block for their own well being bereft of political expediency of the West.
