Ralph Nader’s statement is indeed "a breath of fresh air"

Ralph Nader was recently "taken to the woodshed" by Abe Foxman, executive director of the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, for daring to suggest a new direction in American foreign policy respecting the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Nader said:

"The days when the chief Israeli puppeteer comes to the United States and meets with the puppet in the White House and then proceeds to Capitol Hill, where he meets with hundreds of other puppets, should be replaced. The Washington Puppet Show should be replaced."

The chief puppeteer is, of course, Ariel Sharon, the prime minister of Israel, while the chief puppet is none other than our own President George W. Bush.

It should be noted that the phenomenon of pro-Israeli puppeteers pulling the strings on willing puppets in Washington, D.C. exists in Wisconsin too.

On two occasions the Wisconsin State Assembly, which has 99 members – only 19 votes on one occasion – and only 12 votes on the second occasion could be mustered to consider a resolution calling upon Congress to investigate Israel’s "blatant murders" – of 34 American citizens – to use the language of George W. Ball, (undersecretary of state during the Kennedy and Johnson administrations) – by the State of Israel when it attacked the USS LIBERTY on June 8, 1967. (The Passionate Attachment, George W. Ball, p. 58).

For details on the above, Rep. Marlin Schneider is your best source. He was stripped of his assistant minority leader position by his fellow Democrats because of his fight on behalf of the survivors of the Israeli attack on the USS LIBERTY.

The pusillanimous stand of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is further proof of the power the fanatical friends of a foregn power have over American foreign policy in the Middle East.

Ralph Nader’s statement is indeed "a breath of fresh air."
