JEDDAH (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist bombing that tore through a mosque in Peshawar in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Friday, 04 March 2022, killing and wounding tens of worshipers.
H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, the OIC’s Secretary-General, expressed his strong condemnation of this heinous crime and offered his sincere condolences to the victims’ families and the government and people of Pakistan wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. The Secretary-General expressed the OIC’s stand with the Pakistani government in confronting terrorism, stressing the OIC’s firm stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
