Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr Hissein Brahim Taha, on 1 January 2023 at the General Secretariat in Jeddah received the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the OIC Dr Saleh Suhaibani. Both sides discussed subjects of common interest as well as issues in the Muslim world and how to enhance joint Islamic action.
The Secretary-General commended the effective role played in the OIC by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the OIC host country and chair of the current Islamic Summit, appreciating its continuous and generous support to facilitate the work of the OIC.
