Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) announced that it is following with concern the developments of the situation in Sudan.
In a statement issued Monday, the General Secretariat called on all Sudanese parties to abide by the Constitutional Document and what was agreed upon regarding the transitional period.
OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen stressed that dialogue is the way to overcome differences in order to give priority to the supreme interest of the Sudanese people and to achieve their aspirations for security, stability, development and prosperity.
