Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has said it is following closely and with concern the latest political developments in the Republic of Guinea.
In a statement issued Monday, the OIC General Secretariat deplored the resort to use of force as a means to resolve the political crisis affecting the West African country.
The General Secretariat urges all pivotal actors in the Republic of Guinea to exercise self-restraint, demonstrate a responsible attitude and foster dialogue in preventing all acts threatening to undermine the peace, stability and unity of the country.
