Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist bombing that targeted a popular market in Baghdad’s Sadr City, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens.
The General Secretariat expressed the OIC’s standing and solidarity with the Republic of Iraq in all measures it takes to confront violence, terrorism and extremism.
The OIC General Secretariat offered condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and to the leadership, government and people of Iraq. It also wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
