Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the terrorist attack on a military base in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, which left a number of soldiers dead and injured.
The General Secretariat extended its condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the people and government of Somalia, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
It also renewed the OIC’s firm stance that condemns all acts of terrorism, extremism and violence in all their manifestations, affirming at the same time its support for and solidarity with Somalia in its efforts to combat terrorism.
