Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the terrorist attack carried out by gunmen on the villages of Karo, Otagona and Dautegivt in northern Mali, which claimed the lives of dozens of civilians.
OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen conveyed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Mali, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
The General Secretariat reiterated the OIC’s principled position against all forms of terrorism and stressed its full solidarity with the Malian authorities in their fight against terrorism and extremism.
