Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned in the strongest terms the attacks perpetrated by gunmen on an army base in Borno State and on a village in Anambra State among others in Nigeria.
The General Secretariat conveyed its deep condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the government and people of Nigeria, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
The General Secretariat reiterated the principled position of the OIC against extremism and terrorism. It also reaffirmed the OIC’s solidarity with Nigeria in its efforts to combat violent extremism and terrorism.
