Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen conveyed deep condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims as well as to people and government of Egypt, over the two-train collision in the Tahta district of Sohag province, south of Cairo.
Al-Othaimeen prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow His vast mercy upon the souls of the deceased and to grant solace and comfort to their families. He also wished a prompt recovery to the wounded.
The Secretary-General affirmed the OIC’s stand and solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt in this ordeal.
