OIC chief congratulates Saudi leadership and people on 90th National Day

Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen extended his congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Chair of the Islamic Summit, to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the Saudi people, on the occasion of the 90th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Al-Othaimeen commended the relentless efforts of Saudi Arabia, the host country of the OIC, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the follow-up of the Crown Prince, in serving the causes of the Islamic Ummah all over the world, in line with the religious, political and economic status of the Kingdom and its constant endeavor to champion the causes of Muslims, defend Muslims in all forums and provide care for them.

He praised the special care the OIC receives from the Saudi government, which provides generous support to all OIC programs and activities, in addition to the facilities put at the disposal of the Organization to enable it to play its role in full.

The OIC chief affirmed that Saudi Arabia is recording remarkable progress in all its internal programs and projects. He also highlighted the Kingdom’s political and economic weight at the regional and international levels and commended its ambitious 2030 Vision supervised by the Crown Prince.

The Secretary General concluded his statement by wishing Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people, as well as all Islamic countries lasting security, stability and prosperity.
