London (UNA-OIC) – Niger’s President Mohamed Bazoum met on Wednesday with President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Dr. Bandar Hajjar, on the sidelines of the Global Education Summit in London.
During the meeting, Bazoum and Hajjar discussed IsDB’s projects in Niger and the importance of the Bank’s support for the education sector in the West African nation.
The Global Education Summit, co-hosted by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on July 28-29, aims to raise at least $5 billion over the next five years to transform education systems for more than 1 billion girls and boys in up to 90 countries and territories.
