MOGADISHU (UNA-OIC) – Somali Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism H.E Osman Abukar Dubbe, congratulates the staff of the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) on the 58th anniversary of its establishment.
“I congratulate the staff and management at the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) on the 58th anniversary of SONNA’s founding, wishing success and progress for the new agency in the future”, said Minister Dubbe.
In addition, Director -General Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, Abdullah Xayir Duale sends his best wishes to the staff of SONNA on the 58th anniversary, wishing more success for the agency in the future.
The Somali National News Agency (SONNA) is state-run news agency and one of the main sources of news since establishment in 1964.
SONNA publishes news in three main languages: Somali, Arabic and English and it operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism.
