Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region, received here on Sunday Fahad Abualnasr, Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Public Diplomacy.
During the meeting at the headquarters of the Emirate of Makkah Region, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal listened to an explanation of the Foreign Ministry’s preparations to host the meeting of the Group of Strategic Vision: Russia and the Islamic World”, under the theme “Dialogue and Prospects for Cooperation”, scheduled to take place in Jeddah on November 24.
The meeting comes within the framework of the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for dialogue between followers of religions and cultures. Saudi Arabia is hosting the meeting for the second time after hosting its fourth session in Jeddah in 2008.
The meeting was attended by Secretary-General of the Meeting Organizing Committee Ambassador Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Sultan, in addition to the committee members.
