Tripoli (UNA-OIC) – Head of Libya’s Presidential Council Mohamed Al-Manfi made a phone call on Wednesday with Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, during which they stressed the depth of brotherly relations between the two countries.
During the phone conversation, the two sides exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest. They also stressed the need to continue strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation in order to maintain regional peace and security.
Al-Manfi and Al-Burhan agreed on the importance of continuous communication and coordination at the highest level regarding the situation in the Republic of Chad. They affirmed their determination to continue joint efforts.
