Tripoli (UNA-OIC) – Chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council Mohamed al-Manfi stressed the need to accelerate the establishment of a Commission for National Reconciliation.
During a consultative meeting with his two deputies, Abdullah al-Lafi and Musa al-Koni, al-Manfi said achieving a comprehensive national reconciliation that unites all Libyans is at the top of his mission priorities, as it is the cornerstone for building a unified civilian state.
The Presidential Council president also affirmed the need to expedite the establishment of the Commission in order to lay the foundations and pillars to achieve a comprehensive national reconciliation that brings together all Libyans.
The meeting was held with the participation of the working team members assigned to laying out the outlines of the Commission’s functioning and organizational structure as well as its objectives and mandates.
