KSRelief signs agreement with UNDP to implement vocational training project for Yemeni youth

Riyadh (UNA-OIC) – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) signed a joint agreement with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), to implement a vocational training project and support entrepreneurship skills for the youth in Yemen.

The agreement, worth $3 million, was signed during a virtual bilateral meeting on Sunday by KSRelief Assistant General Supervisor for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Beez, and UNDP Yemen’s Resident Representative Auke Lootsma.

Under this agreement, young men and women will be empowered to acquire professional, technical and commercial skills by providing vocational and professional training while enhancing their capabilities and holding courses for them in the field of economics and life skills, benefiting 910 people in the governorates of Hadramaut, Dhamar, Ibb and Lahj.

This agreement comes as a continuation of the relief efforts being made by Saudi Arabia, represented by KSRelief, to help the Yemeni people.
