Amman (UNA-OIC) – The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Wednesday dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip.
A statement by the JHCO said that the convoy, comprises 14 trucks carrying medical and relief supplies as well as food parcels, will be delivered to the ministries of health and social development in Gaza, a number of charities and the military field hospital in the coastal enclave.
JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli stressed that the convoy came in implementation of the Royal directives to meet the humanitarian needs in the Palestinian territories, mainly in the Gaza Strip.
