The statement denounced the Agency’s move as excessive and politicized.
The Iranian lawmakers said that repeated IAEA reports confirmed that Iran has in good faith provided the Agency with the most possible access and inspection chances while these accesses have not been used to help remove the Western claims against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
The statement said that the IAEA secretariat each time arose new questions against Iran’s nuclear program which have caused doubt about the continuation of cooperation with the Agency.
“If cooperating with IAEA inspections raises excuses for ambiguity, why should these opportunities be repeated?” the statement asked.
The lawmakers expressed support for the government and the country’s nuclear organization in reducing cooperation with the UN nuclear agency.
