The maneuver began on Wednesday simultaneous with the National Government Week participated by all branches of the Iranian Army.
On the second day of the drills, Scramble drones of the Iranian Army’s Defense Force successfully targeted and destroyed invading drones.
Many other targets on the ground were also destroyed by Iranian Karrar class drones after they flew a long distance to the operation zone.
All the targets, including command and control centers, ammunition dumps, missile systems and fuel tanks were successfully and accurately hit and destroyed.
Kaman 22 drones were also used for the first time in these drills.
Over 150 drones are participating the maneuvers, according to Deputy Coordinator of the Iranian Army Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari.
